Request for payment of Mobilization Advance @10% against submission of equivalent bank guarantee bond.

 

Not agreed. Please refer Cl.2.21.1 Volume 1, EPC developer would have received 10% Payment before physical commencement of the work.

Request to extend the date of submission by at least one Month as time left for computing this type of EPC documents takes a considerable type.

Please confirm who will bear the cost of statutory approval fees from the competent authority for the approval of the drawing/schemes.

IVRCL INFRASTRUCTURE

As per scope of work, housing complex, hostel complex and common facilities to be designed based on the requirements given in the tables I, II & III, of tender document. As mentioned in the above tables that additional facility to be planned like Gym & indoor badminton, students center, shopping center, swimming pool, community center and Primary school etc.  Please confirm all these facilities should be shown with the area’s indicating in the overall master plan, or it has to be considered in the complete design.

Reference: Para 3 A and B of Volume 3 Requirements and site details,

EPC Developer will prepare complete master plan for entire quarters and all hostels but only will only built as per scope “To be built Now”

Please clarify the each type of Quarters accommodation weather it is single bedroom or double bed room or three bed room, and also specify the common facilitates like entrance lobby, living cum dining, kitchen and attached toilet or common toilet.

 

The areas, requirements and specifications are given in Annexure A of EMPLOYER’S requirements

 

Hostel complex

Common area such as entrance lounge, dining with seating capacity,  kitchen, reception, visitor lounge, library cum reading room, TV room, office store and recreation room etc.

15 acres were mentioned for development housing complex at Bhopal site. this area of land is not sufficient to accommodate all facilities such as housing quarters, hostels & common facilities .to this effect a minimum of additional 10 acres are required to be added to this site. please clarify whether this will be arranged or not accordingly zoning plan may be revised.

The proposed complex will come up in 15 Acres land complex In this case future expansion will  not be planned at this site

 

KANWARJI CONSTRUCTION

Clause 10 CC of CPWD works manual to be included during the currency of contract/validity of extended period as the duration of contract from the bid date is more than 24 months.

 

According to CPWD Works Manual, the stipulated period for completion is to be considered which is 16 months in this case.

Monthly payment shall be made on the basis of sub yardsticks to be derived jointly on pro-rata basis.

Reference Cl 2.21.2 Vol 1 Payment will be made  on completion of Milestone only and is not depending on Periodicity.

75% of bill amount shall be released with in seven days of submission of bill and balance 25% shall be paid within 25 days of submission of bill.

Our quoted rates shall be valid for total contract price as quoted +/-15% of the contract value. Variation beyond these limits, the rates shall be subject to upward revision as mutually agreed.

Our quoted rate shall be based on prevailing rates of taxes and duties .please note any variation in the existing taxes and duties introducing if any new taxes ,duties and cess after date of submission of offer due to upcoming budget of central or state government ,the same shall be reimburses to us against proof of payment.

Liquidated damages shall only be recovered for the reasons attributable to contractor for non completion within stipulated /extended time at 0.5% of contract value per week beyond the stipulated /extended date the work remains incomplete subject to a ceiling of 2.5% value of work.

Not agreed to and shall be regulated as per Cl 2.21.3 Vol.1 and Cl 8.7 of Vol 2.

1)    For additional items of work of which rates are not available, the same shall be derived from the quoted rates wherever applicable.

2)    For additional items of work where rate cannot be derived from quoted rate, the same shall be computed on the following basis:

‘a) Items involving supply of materials,(cost of materials + cost of labour +hire charges of equipment)+WCT & other taxes +15% towards supervision, overhead & margins)

 labour and use of PMV

b) items executed by specialized  nominated agency/Rate of specialized agency +15%

c) Items where only supply of labour is involved  cost of labour +25%

 

 

 

This is a turnkey contract, no items are involved hence no change is anticipated
